Amazon Rainforest Expedition
5 Days / 4 Nights

Boarding and a welcome drink. Immediately we`ll depart towards the meeting of the waters and start getting information about the surrounding ecosystem. As we navigate through the Rio Negro, our biologist guide will show you exclusively the ecosystems of Igapó (flooded forest with black water) and Várzea (flooded forest with white water).
We`ll feast our eyes on the most amazing meeting of the waters found in the Amazon basin , where the silt water of the Solimões and the black (tannin-stained) water of the Rio Negro clash – but try to maintain their independence and identity for about 10 Km, before they truly mix, becoming the mighty Amazon river.
Turning around, we expect to reach the Ariaú river.
Lunch at 01:00 p.m., followed by a canoe tour, meandering the flooded forest. Keep your eyes peeled for Giant kapok tree (Ceiba pentandra), water lilies (Victoria amazonica), White fronted capuchin monkeys (Cebus albifrons), Squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus), Red howler monkeys (Alouatta seniculus), sloths (Bradypus tridactillus) and plenty of birds.
